Fruits High in Fiber, but low in carbs

While fruits are a great source of fiber, many have a high level of carbohydrates. This post will highlight fruit options that are high in fiber but low in carbs.

It is time to change gears and take a look at EASY FRUITS that are HIGH in FIBER and LOW in CARBOHYDRATES (CARBS).

 

Below are fruits that have a CARB TO CALORIE RATIO of less than 25%, meaning that each fruit calorie contains 25% or less grams of carbohydrates.

 

At the TOP of the list are FRUITS with the LOWEST amount of CARBS per CALORIE (for example, a coconut has 1% grams of carbohydrates per calorie), and as you move down the list, the carbohydrate to calorie ratio increases (for example, blueberries have 25% grams of carbohydrates per calorie).
